HEAD OF CAMPAIGNS & DESIGN
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Campaigns & Design to lead our efforts in engaging both B2B and B2C audiences. This role requires a leader who possesses a deep understanding of diverse marketing landscapes and can craft innovative, integrated campaigns that drive results.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver with exceptional communication skills, able to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in campaign planning and execution, performance analysis, and digital marketing strategies—both organic and paid. Strong creative writing skills, content development, and in-depth understanding of how to optimise campaigns across channels is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Campaign Planning & Strategy: Conduct market research, identify target audiences, and develop integrated campaigns that align with brand values and business goals.
- Content Creation & Copywriting: Develop cohesive messaging, write compelling copy across email, social media and websites, and collaborate with the design team to enhance content.
- Performance Analysis: Establish KPIs, analyse campaign data to uncover insights, and prepare reports for stakeholders with data-driven recommendations.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with sales, product and content teams to ensure consistent messaging, manage supplier relationships, and keep internal teams updated.
- Budget Management: Plan and manage campaign budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and analysing costs against forecasts.
- Channel Management: Lead strategies across multiple channels (digital, social media, email) and managing paid advertising for optimal reach and conversion.
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead and mentor the campaigns & design team, providing guidance and conducting annual performance reviews.
- Innovation & Compliance: Stay current on industry trends and regulations, implement A/B testing, and optimise campaigns based on real-time data.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
- Degree in a business/marketing-related discipline is desirable but not essential.
- Experience as a Marketing Manager, ideally managing multiple direct reports.
- Leadership in overseeing teams’ daily operations and project-managing larger, ad hoc initiatives.
- Proficiency in software packages, including Google Suite, Hootsuite (or HubSpot), and Google Business Tools (Analytics, Keyword Planner, Data Studio).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Basic experience with tools such as SEMrush, Salesforce, and video platforms like Wistia and Vimeo.
- Working knowledge of SEO, lead generation, and affiliate marketing practices and expected outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills, with strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing techniques, platforms, and tools, with broad experience in marketing automation.
- Proven ability to develop strong cross-departmental relationships for effective teamwork and shared leadership.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed, impactful recommendations.
- Agility and resilience, comfortable working in fast-paced environments, and driving innovation within the team.
