We are looking for an experienced email and social media marketer to leverage their expertise in executing strategies and tactics to maximise the growth, reach and engagement with our email database and social media following. Your role will be crucial in engaging healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure that all activity supports the business objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gain a strong understanding of our audience and the various segments within it, including demographics, behaviours, preferences and needs, to tailor our marketing strategies and campaigns effectively.
  • Enhance our email marketing capabilities and maximize engagement with our audiences of healthcare professionals across ten therapy areas.
  • Optimize engagement with our B2B audience by utilizing contacts from Touch Independent Medical Education and Touch Medical Communications.
  • Collaborate in building and optimizing automated and action-triggered email campaigns that drive engagement and conversions within different segments, primarily our B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Support the Head of Data and Insights with strategies for data growth and augmentation.
  • Contribute to expanding the company’s presence on social media platforms, where we already have a combined following of over 150,000.
  • Work closely with the campaigns team and designers to deliver leading email and social media campaigns, from conception through to reporting. Create and distribute engaging written and graphic content, including e-newsletters, blogs and social media posts, to enhance the impact and effectiveness of our marketing efforts
  • Manage and perform A/B testing using email and social marketing software to measure the success of campaigns and produce performance reports/dashboards to track click rates, conversion, unsubscribes and other metrics.
  • Build and maintain systems for testing and measuring ongoing social and email campaigns, using tools like Hootsuite to ensure all social media campaigns reach the correct targets and that all analytics are on track.
  • Maintain an up-to-date email and social calendar, ensuring our communications are evenly spaced and measured across all our channels and segments.
  • Monitor the activity of company competitors, including our top 5 different competitors.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with brand representatives across the social media mix.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Salesforce and Mailchimp.
  • Basic knowledge or marketing automation platforms like Marketo and Pardot would be a bonus
  • Familiarity with social media management tools like HootSuite, Hubspot, and Buffer.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design software like Canva and BeePro.
  • Basic understanding of HTML would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with analytics software such as Google Analytics and HootSuite to assess campaign performance
  • Experience in customer segmentation, customer journeys, automations and A/B testing.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, healthcare would be a bonus.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, including successful post writing and visual storytelling.
  • Basic knowledge of algorithms and search engine optimisation.
  • Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas.
  • Understanding of working with multiple audience segments effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage projects and campaigns from start to finish.
  • Ensure work is conducted with current business policies and GDPR compliance.
